Resource Conservation -
Utility Conservation Programs

<<back to Conservation home

Conservation Programs: Overview

We need your help!  There are countless opportunities for conservation at our schools but SPS Resource Conservation Specialists can't do it alone.  Our goal with these three interconnected programs is to encourage a culture of conservation at every school in our District.  We depend on school teachers, students, custodians, administrative staff, parents, and community members to encourage behaviors that conserve utilities (energy, water, and waste).  We hope your school will start or continue a Green Team, which will help you earn a Shared Savings Award and/or a Conservation Champion Award!
