Three students judged best overall winners in middle school science fair

Science fair at Museum of FlightThree Seattle Public Schools students were judged best overall winners in the 13th annual Middle School Science Fair at the Museum of Flight held in June. The best overall winners for each grade level were:

• 6th grade: Erik Mueller, Whitman Middle School
Project Title: How do low concentrations of laundry soap & motor oil affect plant growth?

• 7th grade: Cameron Grane, McClure Middle School
Project Title: Age and Gender vs. Memory

• 8th grade: Wendy Donier and Piper Philips, Blaine K-8
Project Title: Kick Off

A total of 158 students from ten middle schools entered projects. The participating schools are: Blaine, Denny, Eckstein, Hamilton, Jane Addams, Madison, McClure, Mercer, Washington and Whitman.
