Reflections arts program seeks student entries for 'Diversity Means ...' contest

eattle Public Schools students will have a chance again this year to express themselves in different categories through Reflections, a national PTA sponsored art program. This year’s theme is “Diversity Means …”
All participating area Seattle Public Schools should turn in their selected student Finalists' artwork to Seattle Council PTSA by Dec. 1, 2011. Independent judges will select finalists for the Washington State Reflections Program.
Students can submit original artwork in photography, visual arts, dance/choreography, musical composition, literature and film/video that reflect the 2011-12 “Diversity” theme. Participants will receive recognition and the chance to advance from their school to council, state or national Reflections Programs.
Students can check regularly for information and updates at their school or at www.wastatepta.org. Students can also send inquiries to the Seattle Council PTSA Vice President of Enrichment at enrichment@seattlecouncilptsa.org.
