Hundreds attend back-to-school event: Community Celebration of Learning
Hundreds of staff, families and community members came together August 30 to celebrate the start of the new school year which begins Sept. 7. The Community Celebration of Learning, held at the Seattle Center's Fisher Pavilion, was a chance for families to receive information and ask questions about transportation, enrollment, nutrition, and other services. Families also had an opportunity to visit school-related groups and nonprofit organizations who had tables set up around the pavilion. Office Depot donated 750 backpacks for the event.
