About EAP

The Employee Assistance Program is a free and confidential counseling and referral resource available to all Seattle Public Schools employees and their family members.  Our staff of licensed professionals offers assessment, short-term counseling and referrals to help resolve a number of personal, work and family related problems.

Can EAP help?

Sometimes pressures on the job, at home, or personal problems can get in the way of the kind of life we want to live.  These difficulties are rarely solved by ignoring or enduring them.  Any problem that interferes with your job performance, your personal happiness, or your family life is something you can bring to EAP. 

Workplace Mediation

EAP provides on-site mediation to assist employees in resolving worked-based conflict.  Mediations between two or three employees or an entire work group is always voluntary on the part of the employees.  It can be initiated by the employees, the supervisor, manager or principal.
