Reminder: Public Hearing on the 2011-12 budget today
Because of state funding deficits, Seattle Public Schools is in the midst of a very challenging budgeting process for the 2011-12 school year. The Seattle School Board will hold a public hearing on the 2011-12 budget from 4-5 p.m. today, June 22, in the auditorium of the John Stanford Center for Educational Excellence, 2445 3rd Ave. S.
The School Board is scheduled to take a vote on the final budget during its July 6 board meeting. The proposed budget can be found here.
