• Nova and Shoreline C.C.: Norah Alzahem.

The banquet will be held at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1634 19th Ave., Seattle. For additional information, or if you are interested in attending the banquet, please contact Jan Lind-Sherman, Dream Foundation Chairman, or phone (425) 478-8174.

Keynote speaker will be Kahlana Barfield, a 2000 Martin Luther King School Dream Foundation award-winner. She will be flying in from New York City to deliver an inspirational message to the 2011 scholarship recipients. She attended Martin Luther King Elementary School from kindergarten through fifth grade, and graduated from Garfield High School in 2000. After getting her degree in Journalism from Howard University in Washington, D.C., she began working at InStyle magazine in New York City. She is now the Senior Beauty Market Editor for the magazine.
