Nancy Coogan
Executive Director of Schools - Central Region
Nancy Coogan came to Seattle Public Schools from the Mukilteo School District, where she served as principal of Olympic View Middle School for the past six years. Her administrative career began in Everett Public Schools, where she served as an assistant principal at Heatherwood Middle School, and she also taught at Redmond Junior High School in the Lake Washington School District. Ms. Coogan received a Bachelor of Science degree from Adelphi University, and earned a master’s degree in special education and an administrative credential from City University. She is a recent graduate from Washington State University’s superintendent program and is currently enrolled in a doctoral program at Washington State University.
