Board to vote on 2011-12 and 2012-13 School Year Calendars at May 18 meeting
The School Board is scheduled to vote on the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school year calendars at its May 18 Board meeting. The calendar days – such as first day of school, winter and spring breaks, professional development days, holiday breaks, and last day of school – are negotiated between the Seattle Education Association and the School District.
The draft 2011-12 and 2012-13 school year calendars are at the bottom of the School Board Briefing/Proposed Action Report or can be downloaded directly in pdf form:

The final school calendars will be posted on the District website and a news release sent out to families, staff, media and the community as soon as the Board approves the calendars.
