Superintendent announces updated and streamlined organizational chart
Interim Superintendent Susan Enfield announced April 15 an updated transitional organization chart, to reflect a more streamlined central office that better serves schools and students. A brief memo explaining the changes accompanies the chart.
“Seattle Public Schools is a teaching and learning organization, and our structure needs to reflect that core mission,” Enfield said.
What is changing? For starters, a new reporting structure helps streamline administration. Title changes now reflect the District’s core mission of teaching and learning, and there are new accountability measures, including a new Office of Internal Audit. The process of restructuring central office at the John Stanford Center has a near zero budget impact.
