Diversity Speaker Series - Psychologist to speak on how to create an inclusive learning and working environment

Hsiao-Wen Lo, a diversity consultant who works with those interested in creating an inclusive living, learning and working environment, is the guest speaker April 26 at the John Stanford Center. The event is free and open to the public as part of Seattle Public Schools Diversity Speaker Series.

Drawing from her background as a psychologist, Dr. Lo helps her clients make sustainable changes by providing them with information and skills so they can effectively move from intention to action. Dr. Lo is licensed psychologist in Michigan and has a private practice in Ann Arbor.

She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds regarding, age, gender, nationality, race, sexual orientation, and socio-economic status. She has also worked in a variety of settings, including domestic violence shelter, children’s hospital, community mental health clinic, and university counseling centers.
