Huchoosedah - Title VII Parent Advisory Committee
The Parent Advisory Committee, Title VII (PAC), advises the Seattle School district in regards to the Title VII Indian Education Formula Grant. The Title VII PAC approves, in writing, the Title VII grant application, proposed budget, and any subsequent formal application amendments. The Parent Committee must assist in development and approve the annual grant proposal in order for our district to receive federal funding.
The Parent Advisory Commmittee must be composed of;
- Parents/Guardians of students enrolled in the district, who meet the federal requirements for eligibility and with a valid ED506 form on file.
- One or more district teachers not paid by Title VII funding.
- One of more students enrolled in the district.
- Parents/Guardians of students enrolled in the district, who meet the federal requirements for eligibility must constitute the majority.

Other parents may represent as Members At Large. Total number of the Parent Advisory Committee is limited to 15 voting members. Other parents can attend and have input, but there are only 15 members with voting priviledges.
