Huchoosedah

Arlie Neskahi - Program Manager

Ya-ah t'eh, I am a member of the Dine' Nation. I am of the Black-Streaked Running into Water Clan and am born for the Clumped Tree Clan. In November 2009, I was hired as the new Native Education Program Manager. I look forward to meeting and working with our parents, students, staff and administrators. It is time for us to come together to change the current status of Native student achievement in our district. We will need to be bold, creative and diligent. Some of what we can do together is:

  1. Build upon our strengths as communities and cultures.
  2. Research best practices for Native Urban Learners.
  3. Utilize our community resources in an effective and cost-effective manner through successful partnerships and collaborative efforts.
  4. Provide support, high, positive expectations and opportunities for meaningful academic challenge for our students.
  5. Build alliances with school staff & administrators.

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or concerns.
