Interim Superintendent Susan Enfield sent out a letter to Lowell Elementary families and staff on July 8 announcing a decision to move Lowell's APP students in Grades 1-5 to Lincoln for the fall. The Superintendent made the decision after hearing from the Lowell community at a community meeting last week – in addition to receiving feedback from an online survey and personal conversations.
A meeting was held on Monday, June 27 to discuss options to address overcrowding at Lowell Elementary beginning in the 2011-12 school year. Copies of the presentation in PowerPoint and pdf versions are available, along with a synopsis of community feedback and comments.
