Cleveland High students to share stories of bullying and bigotry as part of USA Network's national campaign to fight hate, discrimination
Ten Cleveland High School students will take the stage at a school assembly Feb. 11 to share their sometimes heartbreaking stories of bullying and bigotry and how they dealt with it. The students, who have been participating in workshops this week, will be included as part of the USA Network TV's Characters Unite Tour, an ongoing campaign to fight hate and discrimination by promoting tolerance and acceptance. The tour is a joint iniative of TV's USA Network and The Moth, a nonprofit storytelling organization that aims to combat prejudice and discrimination through storytelling. The program will be available in USA Network's website at a later date. Cleveland High is the third school to participate in the five-city national tour.
