    Apply for the High School Science Curriculum Adoption Committee

    Seattle Public Schools will begin evaluating instructional materials for 9-12 science. An adoption committee comprised of teachers, students, families, and community members from across the district will be formed. Their work will begin in October. Interested individuals are invited to apply.

    Applications are due by Mon., Oct. 8, 2018. All applications will be reviewed and selected participants will be contacted by Oct. 19, 2018.

    The committee will support the Department of Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction by:

    • Attending all scheduled meetings
    • Assist in reviewing prospective instructional materials against established criteria
    • Families and community members provide insight to prospective materials
    • Serve as a representative of your community

    The committee will convene in Oct. 2018 through March 2019. All meetings are scheduled to take place at the John Stanford Center, 2445 3rd Avenue S, Seattle, WA 98134.
