Advanced Learning Eligibility and Decision Process Update
    Posted on 02/16/2017

Due to the high volume of applicants, Advanced Learning eligibility decisions will be shared in two phases. Advanced Learning eligibility decisions have been made for 95 percent of applicants, over 4,900 students. Decisions were posted to The Source last Friday, February 10. In the case of private school students, eligibility outcomes were mailed to families.

Most of the remaining students and families will be notified tomorrow, February 17. Families will be notified in advance via email and a phone call to check The Source.

If families want to appeal the eligibility decision, the appeal window is open for three weeks from the notification date. More information can be found on the Advanced Learning webpage.

Families who have concerns or questions should email the Advanced Learning Department directly at advlearn@seattleschools.org.
