The Seattle Public Schools provide a comprehensive curriculum to students kindergarten through grade 12. Activities to support student learning are designed to meet the needs of every student. Curriculum development combines Washington state standards and research-based best practices to produce quality instruction and increased student learning.

Archived Student Records

Our Archived Student Records office produces records for students that have been out of the district for two or more years. If your student is currently enrolled in Seattle Public Schools (or attended within the last 2 years), please contact the last school they attended.

College and Career Readiness Resources

The Seattle Public School strategic plan outlines the goal of all students prepared for college, career and life. Career preparation is a combination of course work, to gain knowledge in a particular career interest area, and understanding of employable skills and self-management skills such as the use of technology, teamwork, and responsibility.

Early Learning

At Seattle Public Schools our vision is for every child to experience a quality, cohesive and joyful learning experience from PreK through third grade that will provide the strong foundation needed to succeed in school and life.

Extra Curricular Activities

Extracurricular activities are designed to supplement school curriculum and provide additional opportunities for our students to develop skills, character, and leadership. There are many activities available for students to participate in throughout the school year. To find out what activities are available through your school, consult your school's student handbook or contact the school office.

Nutrition Services

Nutrition Services department recognizes the important connection between a healthy diet and student's ability to learn effectively and achieve high standards in school.

Online Student Resources

Students have access to a wide variety of online resources including databases, encyclopedias, periodicals, eBooks, online versions of selected textbooks, and homework help from Seattle Public Library.

Student ADA

Seattle Public Schools is committed to non-discrimination and ensuring that information and communications for district-sponsored programs, events, and activities is accessible to students with disabilities. This includes students who are deaf or hearing impaired as well as blind or visually impaired in accordance with Section 504 and Title II of the American Disabilities Act.

Transportation

The Seattle Public Schools Transportation Department provides yellow bus, door-to-door, Metro, and cab service to a variety of students attending Seattle Public Schools and Head Start.
