Private School Programs - 2009-2010 School Year - Tentative Calendar

 

The registration day is considered the first classroom day (except for Bishop Blanchet).

Schedules are tailored to accommodate individual school calendars. Classes at a school are open only to students attending that school. All programs consist of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours behind-the-wheel driving and 4 hours required observation time. Course dates are subject to change if classes have to be rescheduled for any reason.

Registrations are held after school on the days noted. Students must attend the registration session taking the full tuition amount and a signed permission form or they will not be enrolled.

Bishop Blanchet

  • Registration Dates: September 14......November 10......January 27.......March 23

    Session 2 start date: November 18

Sessions are nine weeks in length. Classroom instruction is on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:40 to 4:40 p.m., if sufficient enrollment numbers, a 4:40 to 6:40 p.m. class will be added. Students must be available one other afternoon a week for driving sessions.

Holy Names Academy

The course takes approximately 9 weeks to complete and follows the Holy Names calendar regarding breaks, holidays, etc. Dates to be determined after finalization of school calendar.

  • Registration and start dates: September 14......December 2......March 1

Classroom instruction is on Mondays and Wednesday. Classes are held from 2:40 to 4:40 p.m.

Lakeside School

The course takes approximately 9 weeks to complete and follows the Lakeside calendar regarding breaks, holidays, etc.

  • Registration and start dates: September 14....January 6.......March 8 (session information updated 11-03-09)

Classes are held from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students must be available one other afternoon a week for driving sessions.

Northwest School

The course takes 15 weeks to complete and follows the NW calendar regarding breaks, holidays, etc.

  • Registration and start dates: September 23......February 10

Classroom instruction is on Wednesdays. Classes are held from 3:45 to 5:45 p.m. Students must be available one other afternoon a week for driving sessions.

Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences

The course takes approximately 9 weeks to complete and follows the SAAS calendar regarding breaks, holidays, etc.

  • Registration and start dates: September 15......March 23

Classroom instruction is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students must be available one other afternoon a week for driving sessions. Classes meet from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m.

Seattle Lutheran

The course takes approximately 9 weeks to complete and follows the Seattle Lutheran calendar regarding breaks, holidays, etc.

  • One session will be offered which registers and starts on November 10.

Classroom instruction is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students must be available one other afternoon a week for driving sessions. Classes meet from 3:15 to 5:15 p.m.

 

Seattle Preparatory

Classroom and driving sessions are held after regular school hours.

Check with Mr. Sandstrom in September for the schedule.

 

University Preparatory

The course takes approximately 9 weeks to complete and follows the UP calendar regarding breaks, holidays, etc.

  • Registration and start dates: September 15......January 11

Classroom instruction is on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students must be available one other afternoon a week for driving sessions. Classes meet from 2:50 to 4:50 p.m.
