Strategic Plan Framework - Excellence for All - Adopted by School
Board
On
June 4 the School Board voted unanimously to adopt the Strategic
Plan proposed by Superintendent Goodloe-Johnson, "Excellence for
All." The plan, detailed appendices, and a PowerPoint presentation
are provided below. The plan was developed based on hundreds of
interviews and meetings with internal and external stakeholders,
peer review and diagnostic research, and surveys of instructional
staff and principals. The plan was updated from the draft presented
on May 21 after gathering input and comments from hundreds of
community members. A
summary of that input is available on this Web site.
Next
steps include continuing to develop detailed project plans for each
strategy. These will include specific actions, milestones and
benchmarks. A formal project management framework and project teams
will develop and support the work. Updates will be posted on this
Web site on a regular basis.
