Seattle Public Schools is committed to improving and increasing the opportunities for staff, families and other community members to engage with District leaders, particularly on matters with Districtwide impact. As we implement our Strategic Plan, Excellence for All, we wish to create clear expectations about how and when the District will inform the community about our progress and involve stakeholders in decision-making.

The Input Summary Report for Engagement Protocol and the Adopted Engagement Protocol reflects extensive input we heard from our many stakeholders in Strategic Plan outreach activities. The adopted protocol is also available in the following translations: Amharic, Cambodian, Chinese, Oromo, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrigna, and Vietnamese.
