Previous major
planning efforts continue to shape the work of Seattle Public
Schools.
- CACIEE: Former
Superintendent Raj Manhas appointed the Superintendent's Community
Advisory Committee on Investing for Educational Excellence. The
committee collaborated for six months, from July 28, 2005 to
February 2, 2006. Their
final report was released on February 10, 2006 and can be
viewed here.
- Moss Adams conducted a
performance audit of the financial operations and information
system of the District in 2003
- Fiscal Integrity
Committee: In June 2004, a
progress report on implementation of recommendations made in
the Moss Adams report was presented to the Fiscal Integrity
Committee. The report outlines that the majority of the high
priority recommendations have been implemented and fiscal integrity
remains a District priority.
- The
previous Five
Year Plan reflected many of the priority actions identified in
the major planning efforts listed above.
