Support, Prevention and Intervention (SPI)

Intervention Services

Intervention Services provides support, case management, and enrollment services to high-risk students.

Intervention Services serves the following populations:

  • Students needing an alternative school placement
  • Students needing to complete Behavior Modification classes
  • Students who have dropped out, been long-term suspended, or expelled
  • Students who are sex offenders or sexually aggressive
  • Students returning from correctional institutions or are otherwise court-involved
  • Students needing to retrieve credit
  • Students transitioning from alternative schools back into comprehensive Seattle Public Schools

Intervention Services places students in the following SPS alternative schools:

Intervention Services served over 1000 students in Autumn 2008.
