Family & Community
Partnerships
What do we
do?
The Family and Community
Partnerships Project (FCP) implements a research-based
School-Family-Community Partnerships Model to increase student
academic achievement by helping families assist in their children's
learning at home and at school.
FCP Project staff and
representatives from our partner
community-based organizations (CBOs) work directly at our 20
highest-need elementary schools to provide culturally appropriate
support for families. Our work contributes to closing the current
achievement gap by strengthening the meaningful involvement of
families and communities in their children's education.
