Small Works Roster and HUBS

Small Works Roster
Seattle Public Schools shall utilize the Small Works Roster for construction contracts under $200,000, which are exempt from the formal bid process. For inclusion on the Small Works Roster download the Small Works Roster Application Form or contact (206) 252-0561 or email mjcruz@seattleschools.org for more information.

Historically Underutilized Business (HUB)
The term "HUB" includes the following small businesses, as defined by Small Business Administration size standards for each industry. The term "Women-owned Small Business" means a HUB that self-certifies as to at least 51% ownership by a woman.The term "Minority-owned Small Business" means a HUB that self-certifies as to at least 51% ownership by a minority. To be included on the Seattle Public Schools HUB Roster, please submit a completed application of the HUBs Application Form or contact (206) 252-0561 or email mjcruz@seattleschools.org for more information.

Regional Small Business Development Program
The purpose of the Small Business Development Program (SBDP) is to help small businesses overcome the barriers that prevent them from growing by tying business education to contracting opportunities.

Training is free to firms active in the Small Business Development Program (SBDP). Training areas include the following:
- Contracting
- Management
- Financial
- Marketing
- Human Resources
