Center
To ensure that all presenters have quality presentations,
the Professional Learning Center and Professional
Development,
will provide support in securing, set up and trouble-shooting of
equipment.

Reserve a Room
- A room may be reserved with Kyle, unless your department has a
scheduler.
- Traning rooms are in bright green
- Room booking questions? Send E-mail to Kfminaglia@seattleschools.org.
Check with PLC staff before your event
- To reserve equipment for a room, there’s a 5 day minimum
notice prior to the training/event.
- Before your event check out equipment from Kyle.
- If technical support is required, please notify Kyle one (1)
business day in advance.
- Equipment must be picked up/checked out no later
than 4 p.m.
- Early morning training: contact Kyle the day before training;
equipment will be ready for pick up first thing in the
morning.
- After training Kyle will check-in the equipment that was
requested.
If equipment is non-operational, the person signing for the
equipment will be notified.
Set up your room
- At the time of your event, you may need changes to your room.
If you need assistant, please contact the PLC Staff.
- The following items must remain in the room: markers,
flipcharts, overheads, projectors and cables.
- Do not use tacks, nails, duct tape
and/or adhesives on walls or room dividers. Scotch and masking tape
are okay.
Clean up your room
- Trainers and Presenters are responsible for ensuring the room
is left clean.
- Remove all flip chart papers from walls; erase everything from
the white board.
- Remove all training/ meeting materials and food/beverage
items.
- Spills and other damages and all urgent situations, please
report to PLC staff.
