On April 17 we will cover basic understanding of what phonemic awareness is and how it is taught and assessed. If you have an assessment or teacher resource you are currently using for phonemic awareness, please bring it. On May 1 you are invited to bring back your assessment data so we can discuss results and look more closely at instructional resources. Please bring Phonemic Awareness in Young Children, by Adams, Foorman, Lundberg, and Beeler, if you have it.
