Town Hall Seattle

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
in the Performing Arts
for Seattle Public Schools Teachers

Town Hall Seattle and Seattle Public Schools join together for a pilot project to offer teachers professional development opportunities that broaden awareness and knowledge of world performance in music, song and dance. Teachers from all grades can attend exciting performances in Town Hall's programs at discounted prices including an informative pre-concert talk before each event, and earn three hours of professional development clock hours at each performance. In addition, with details to be arranged, there will be special workshops and discussion groups at Town Hall that will allow teachers exposure to new techniques and ideas for advancing the study and understanding of world cultures in their classrooms.

For information about events at Town Hall please contact Spider Kedelsky, Director of Community Programs at spiderk@townhallseattle.org, or 206/652-4255.

Tickets for all concerts for teachers and their guests are at the reduced Town Hall member price (www.ticketweb.com or at the door). Town Hall Seattle is located at Eighth and Seneca in downtown Seattle, one block east of the I-5 Freeway. For directions, parking and other information about Town Hall: www.townhallseattle.org.
