Application Process for Free or
Reduced Priced Meals
All families who wish to apply
for free or reduced meals with the Seattle Public Schools are
encouraged to fill out an application at anytime during the school
year. A new application needs to be completed at the
beginning of each school year. Applications are available
at all schools and on the Nutriton Service's web site. Once an
application is completed, it can be submitted to a school's
lunchroom manager or mailed directly to the Nutrition Service's
Office for processing.. Click on the link below to be
directed to a copy of this school year's F&R
application.

Application Instructions & Forms for Current School
Year
When completing an application for meal
benefits please be sure to:
- List all children attending a Seattle Public
School in section one. (If receiving Food Stamps or TANF benefits
list the case number in the space provided after each student's
name).
- List all adults and children living in the
household (including students listed in section 1 who do not have a
case number) and their incomes in section section. Benefits
are based on family size and combined income so it is important
everyone is listed.
- If an application is based on income,
it is not considered complete without a signature and a social
security number in section 4. Without these the application can not
be processed..
Please contact Nutrition Services for further
