Seattle School District Nutrition Services Department is pleased to offer PayPams. Parents and guardians can now pay for school meals through the internet or by phone using either a Mastercard or Discover credit/debit cards (*) anytime of the day.

The use of PayPams offers more than just convenience. You will not have to write checks or send cash to school. Payments can be prepaid safely and conveniently from your home or office. When you set up your PayPams account, you can establish automatic payments, receive email notification when your student's meal account balance is low, view daily cafeteria purchases and payment history, and receive email confirmation on automatic payments.

There is a service fee charged for each payment transaction of 5.6%. This fee is paid directly to PayPams to cover the administrative expenses of maintaining the PayPams website. Seattle Public Schools does not pay for this service nor does it receive any payments from PayPams. Seattle Public Schools has partnered with PayPams to offer this service to those parents or guardians that would like the option of paying by credit/debit card either over the internet or phone. Any parent or guardian who wishes to pay by check or cash through the school lunchroom may continue to do so.

Please note that before you can begin to establish an account, you must know either your student's school district ID number or their meal account keypad number used at school (pin number). Student ID numbers can be found on report cards or through your Source account. Students will know their keypad or pin number they use when paying for a meal.

Payments made prior to 10:00 PM will be processed and posted to student's accounts the next business day.

(*) Due to credit card regulations PayPams can not accept payment with a Visa credit/debit card.
