Background & Community
Input
Proposed attendance area boundary maps were
presented to the Seattle School Board on October 6, 2009. Following
that presentation, we gathered feedback. Thousands of people
attended community meetings and sent comments via e-mail, postal
mail, comment cards, and an online survey. To read these comments,
or a high-level summary of them, please click here. Recommended maps
were formally introduced on November 4 and were followed by
community feedback meetings and a public hearing.
