The "Web Team", a part of the DoTS Systems & Programming Group, provides design, development, support and maintenance for the District's many external Web Sites as well as the District Intranet.   This group offers aid to each department of Seattle Public School District in creating professional web pages that best display their content to the Public.   The technical staff on the Web Team use their artistic talents, as well as their analytical and programming skills, to keep the SPS sites operational and easy for our visitors to use.  

From the creation of graphics elements, developing Flash content, video streaming, PDF forms, online surveys, to the design and implementation of custom web applications, the Web Team offers a wide variety of services to the Seattle School District.

The Web Team's goal is to aid and support the Seattle School District in effectively sharing relevant and timely information to the public and obtaining valid public feedback to current issues.

We also provides aid to Seattle Public Schools with the hosting, web design and implementation of their public School Web Sites, when requested, ( most of our fine school sites are developed and maintained by volunteers and/or local school staff ).

The Web Team is also responsible for establishing and enforcing guidelines for all district web content in accordance with DoTS, School Board, State and Federal guidelines and regulations.  We are diligent and strive to ensure our student online safety and that the district maintains a responsible web presence that is accessible to all our visitors.
