Willard Bill, Program
Manager
Will has been
teaching, recruiting and working toward the accreditation of
Muckleshoot Tribal College for three years prior to joining Seattle
Public Schools as the Program Manager of the Huchoosedah Indian
Education Program. He had previously worked as a middle-school
teacher at Pathfinder K-8 alternative, Seattle Public Schools and
has also taught at the Muckleshoot Tribal School. In addition to
his work in education he is a member of the Muckleshoot Canoe
Family where he is a co-captain/skipper. He also performs with
KUTEEYAA, an Alaskan Native Dance group that his family has been a
part of for the past 7 years.
Darrel Brealan -
Instructional Assistant
Darrel Brealan is an Instructional assistant with the Huchoosedah
Indian Education program. Previously, Darrel has worked with
Seattle Public Schools Custodial Services and also with I-WA-SIL as
the PAL Coordinator. Darrel is an enrolled tribal member of the
Coeurd'Alene tribe of of Northern Idaho. Darrel enjoys working with
our younger Native generation because he has overcome several
obstacles in his life and enjoys sharing this knowledge.
Sondra Segundo -
Instructional Assistant
Sondra Segundo possesses a unique blend of cultural and
professional skill sets that are crucial to the Title VII Indian
education program. Title VII monies are the federal
government’s commitment to meeting the treaty rights in
relation to education guaranteed under the U.S constitution. Sondra
has worked for Seattle Schools for over 15 years and is an active
member of the Seattle Native community. Sondra has the unique
ability to blend cultural teachings while advancing academic
achievement. Her ability to relate to students is critical to their
academic success. Sondra is a member of the Haida Katzie
Tribes.
Vicki Segundo,
Consulting Teacher
Vicki Segundo has been employed in the Seattle School District
since 1982. Prior to joining the Huchoosedah Program as a
consulting teacher, she worked at Van Asselt Elementary School as a
5th grade teacher, special-ed resource room teacher and teacher for
English Language Learners. Vicki received degrees from Antioch
University (BA & MA) and also Special Education training. She
received her ESL endorsement at Seattle Pacific University. In
addition to teaching, Vicki performs with the Haida Heritage
Foundation dance group. If you would like to contact them for

Karen Leona Wolf -
Teacher
Karen Leona Wolf is a member of the Yakama and Puyallup tribes. She
grew up on the Yakama reservation where she was involved in horse
clubs and band. Karen moved to Seattle to attend the University of
Washington where she earned her Bachelors degree in Journalism.
Karen started with Huchoosedah in 2001 as a Home School Coordinator
but left in 2003 to pursue a Masters degree in education at the
University of Idaho. Karen is excited to be back with Huchoosedah
again as a Teacher working with the middle and high school
population of Native American,Alaska Native, and American Indian
students in the Seattle communities and school district.
