2008
Summer School Hiring

Seattle Public Schools has launched the 2008 Summer School hiring process. We are seeking dynamic and skilled who want to work in a progressive, urban school system. The 2008 Summer Staff will offer eligible students an extended school year learning opportunity designed to emphasize the skills needed to meet the District's challenging standards. The summer program for grades 2 & 3 will operate Monday – Friday 8:30-12:30 from June 30th-July 31st. Eligible 5th and 8th grade students will be served by the middle school program. High School Monday – Friday 8:30-12:30 from June 30th-July 31st.

The staff at each site may include, but is not limited to, a site coordinator, office specialist, teachers, instructional assistants (elementary only) and bilingual staff to support targeted language groups.
