• Protect the building envelope
• Replace the most critical roofs
• Continue the seismic mitigation program started in the early 1980s
• Replace windows to protect the building and improve energy efficiency
• Provide life safety improvements
• Upgrade fire alarms
• Provide better ADA access, to include elevators
• Do selected hazardous materials abatement to reduce future maintenance costs
• Replace heat pumps that will be at the end of their useful life to improve energy efficiency and reduce repair and maintenance costs
• Improve science and art facilities in all secondary schools

    Technology

• Provide power upgrades to replace worn systems and support technology
• Upgrade technology to provide data network infrastructure and telephones/intercoms to all classrooms and offices

    Athletic Fields

• Upgrade athletic facilities and fields at several high schools
• Improve gymnasiums at secondary schools
