TO APPEAL A 2008-2009 SCHOOL
ASSIGNMENT:
The appeals process
for Fall school assignments begins May 1, 2008. New forms and
instructions will be posted on this website on April 30st. At that
time, they will also be available at the Enrollment Centers and the
Bilingual Family Center.
Note: If you feel that
a processing error may have occurred in your child’s
2008-2009 assignment, please call 206-252-0760 to request an
inquiry at any time.
To Appeal A Current
2007-2008 School Assignment:
The
new transfer appeal process applies only to assignments for the
current 2007-2008 school year from September 17, 2007 through
June 2008. It is not applicable to assignments for the 2008-2009
school year. Please review the Brief Guide for Disputes and
Appeals to determine whether or not the transfer appeal process
is the best course for addressing your concerns.
