Our work is driven by our mission of academic achievement for every student in every school, and we are making remarkable progress toward that goal. As the largest school system in the state of Washington, we offer a broad range of programs and learning opportunities, enhanced by strong support from parents and community members.

Seattle, Washington... A Livable Community
(Community Resources)

Seattle is the gem of the Pacific Northwest, a beautiful city of over 500,000, located on the shores of Puget Sound between two spectacular mountain ranges. Seattle consistently tops national rankings for livability, for raising children and for the use of technology. A rich variety of outdoor activities, combined with the cultural offerings of a diverse urban area, make the "Emerald City" a wonderful place to call home.
