Seattle Public Schools Data Profile District Summary
The District Summary is a compilation of statistics describing our student population including: demographic information (enrollment, living conditions, free/reduced priced lunch, bilingual status, special education), student outcome measures (academic grades, student test score achievement, attendance, discipline, truancy, graduation, dropouts) and individual school summaries. Demographic data describes student populations, as of Oct. 1 of each year, while outcome measures and individual school summaries are based on the previous school year.

Eliminate the Achievement Gap in Seattle Public Schools
This comprehensive presentation to the Council for Exceptional Children, was made in December 2002 by the Sue Byers, co-chair of the Eliminating the Achievement Gap Action Committee. This presentation covers test scores, disclipine action statistics, the public engagement process, and a side-by-side comparison of the action committees recommendations and Seattle Public Schools action plan.
