Project-Based Teaching and Learning
- Any individual teacher interested
in project-based teaching and learning (PBTL) may contact the
Work-Based Learning Program Supervisor (WBL). Available assistance
includes:
- Curriculum
resources (e.g., rubrics, frameworks, websites)
- Specific
lesson plans
- Referral to
professional development opportunities
- Linkages to
teachers engaged in PBTL.
- For Building Leadership Teams,
principals, and / or Gates committees interested in implementing
PBTL building wide, support can be given in the following areas:
- An understanding of
PBTL (including specific examples with supporting research)
- Linkages to
PBTL trainers
- Linkages with
schools that have used PBTL as a transformation agent
- Examples of
projects (with lesson plans)
