Maintaining Safe Equipment and Training

  1. Review safety standards and procedures for each program yearly.
  2. Select appropriate equipment and software to maintain curriculum and industry standards
  3. Provide safety training manuals for all programs
  4. Provide yearly Industrial First Aid / CPR classes
  5. Assess safety needs of programs in each building, making sure they are in compliance with Local, State and Federal Laws
  6. Conduct professional development safety workshops for teachers and staff
  7. Maintain limited class size to meet safety requirements.
  8. Utilize Advisory Board in developing school safety plans and for recommendations on updating equipment to industry standards.
  9. The pathways specialist assists with all of the above.
