Maintaining Safe Equipment and Training
- Review safety
standards and procedures for each program yearly.
- Select
appropriate equipment and software to maintain curriculum and
industry standards
- Provide safety
training manuals for all programs
- Provide yearly
Industrial First Aid / CPR classes
- Assess safety
needs of programs in each building, making sure they are in
compliance with Local, State and Federal Laws
- Conduct
professional development safety workshops for teachers and
staff
- Maintain
limited class size to meet safety requirements.
- Utilize
Advisory Board in developing school safety plans and for
recommendations on updating equipment to industry standards.
- The pathways specialist assists
with all of the above.
