School Support and Services

Grants

  1. Using existing grants, the Workbased Learning Program Supervisor (WBL) will work with principals and appropriate teachers to meet contracted goals and provide services to students and teachers.
  2. When grants are up for renewal, the WBL Program Supervisor will coordinate with building staff in order to better meet building goals. (This is not always the case when funding first becomes available.)
  3. If Building Leadership Teams and / or principals are interested in pursuing funding opportunities with the Workforce Development Council, they should contact the WBL Program Supervisor, who will act as liaison and assist with RFPs, grant management, etc. The WDC traditionally has funds available for bi-lingual and special needs populations, drop-out prevention, and youth workforce development. The WDC also serves as a resource for other grant opportunities.
