• Ballard's Video Production Program*- Since its beginning in the fall of 2001, students from the BHS Video Production Program have earned numerous awards at regional, state, national and international film festivals.
• IGNITE* - IGNITE works closely with the Seattle School District encouraging high school girls to consider careers in technology. They do presentations at schools, field trips to local companies, and connect high tech women mentors with specific high schools.
• Tech Prep
• Team XBot* - Team XBOT is a self funded club that is lead by fanatic robotic engineering professionals who volunteer their time to FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology - www.usfirst.org*) Team XBOT program which draws high school students from Franklin, Garfield, Cleveland, The Center School and Technology Access Foundation. Team XBOT also had a young man from Bellevue High School who chose to be part of Team XBOT because of the diversity of the team members.
