Automotive Collision Technology

Program Description

Students enrolled in this introductory automotive collision repair course will receive instruction in safety, hazardous materials, welding (oxyacetylene, MIG), tools, unibody construction, metal straightening, and principles of refinishing.

Prerequisite

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at time of program completion
  • Junior or senior (preference given to graduating seniors)
  • Have your counselor’s approval
  • Be attending Seattle Public Schools

Time

1 - 4:00 p.m. Monday – Friday

Length

2 Semesters – Must be available 1st and 2nd semesters

Credits

  • 3 High School Credits
  • 16 Community College Credits -SSCC only
  • 1 of 7 quarters required for completion of SSCC program
