The Seattle School District's Budget Department performs the following functions in support of District operations:

  • Prepares, produces and monitors the General Fund and Capital Budgets
  • Files state budget reports with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction
  • Provides schools and central administrative units with technical budget assistance
  • Provides analysis and projections of District expenditures and revenues
