Infrastructure Projects

Funds from Capital Bond will help pay for district-wide infrastructure improvements, such as replacement of water piping, improvements to indoor air quality and replacement of athletic fields.

 

Waterline Project. Replacement of waterlines at Graham Hill, Lowell, Montlake and Sanislo elementary schools; McClure and Mercer middle schools; Summit at J-12 school; and additional schools to be identified.

 

Indoor Air Quality. Improvements to indoor air quality in Loyal Heights, Montlake, Sacajawea, and Whitworth elementary schools; Ingraham and Rainier Beach high schools; and additional schools to be identified.

 

Athletic Fields Projects. Renovation of Haiwatha field. Replacement of turf at Denny / Sealth field and Summit / Nathan Hale fields. Replacement of synthetic turf on fields at McGilvra elementary and Eckstein middle school.
