Co-Administrative Assistant:
Val Scrivner
Val is going into her 9th year in All City. As a
student she was a member of the basses section for five years and
served in numerous positions on Band Council. Her first three years
on staff were spent with the Basses and this will be her first year
as an administrative assistant.
Val graduated from Garfield High School in 2004. She now attends
the University of Washington and will be graduating with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Math with an emphasis in education and a minor in
music at the end of next year. This fall will be her fifth year in
the Husky Marching Band where she has spent the last two years as
the Sousaphone section leader. She is also a proud brother of the
National Honorary Band Fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi where she has
held many different leadership positions over the last four
years.
Val has been working part-time at the Phinney Ridge Starbucks
for going on four years. She also tutors high school students in
math during the school year (let her know if you need help).
In the spare time that Val does have she loves hanging out with
her friends, watching movies, reading good books, cooking, baking
(for the staff during the summer), going to sporting events, and
being a giant nerd. She also lives by the motto Strive for the
Highest.
