Staff Coordinator:

Ryan King

 

 

Ryan first joined the band in 1991 as a member of the Sax section. After graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1994, he came back as the Saxophone Staff, a position he held through 2001 (while taking the summer of 1997 off). In 2002 he started a new position as the Staff Coordinator where he organizes and maintains the daily activities for the staff during rehearsals and performances. This also allows him the ability to run on field drills with the entire band.

 

A graduate of Western Washington University in 1998 with a BA in Accounting, Ryan then started an accounting career at The Boeing Company and was eventually promoted into management where he oversees 10 direct reports. Ryan also received his CPA license in 2001 and earned his MSIS and ISMBA degrees from the University of Washington in 2005 and 2006 respectively.

 

Now living in Renton, Ryan tries to live a peaceful life working on his garden outside of ACB season trying to grow every vegetable he can think of and overseeing his massive Transformer collection.
