Clarinet Staff:
Marcus Kidder

Marcus Kidder will be returning for his 5th year in
All-city. Marcus graduated from Roosevelt High school in 2007. In
All City he played the clarinet for four years and drum majored for
three years learning valuable leadership skills and qualities to
take back to the Rough Rider band. He furthered his leadership by
being the first music student at Roosevelt to rehearse and conduct
a concert piece in the 22 years that Scott Brown has taught.
He is the 2007 award winner of the prestigious Pride Award with
such people as Isabelle, Tommie, and Marcus Pimpleton. This will be
his first year on staff with the clarinets. (fun fact: there have
been three different clarinet staff members in the last three
years, Marcus will be the forth this summer)
Marcus is currently taking a year off from college to raise
enough money; however he is still a part of the Husky Marching Band
Sousaphone section. He plans to attend Seattle Central Community
College in the fall and major in Computer Engineering and
Programming. Marcus is currently the one who is creating and
maintaining the website you see here. He works for a small
construction company and on his free time likes to hang out with
friends, watch hockey, listen to and make music, play on his x-box
and just have fun. Marcus Kidder has enjoyed every single second of
All-City Band.
